Pentix - Falling Pentomino App Reviews

I got this hoping for a fun, "Tetris-like" experience, but I definitely didnt find it in this pathetic rip-off. The graphics are ugly, the controls are clumsy and confusing, and the music/sound effects (which do turn off, thankfully) are repetitive and obnoxious. I kind of felt like I was playing one of those state fair games that are rigged for the player to lose, because no matter which block fell, there was never ANY slot it would reasonably fit into, EVER. Do not waste your time and/or iPad space on this ridiculously lame game; I deleted it after only five minutes.

Used to be a fun game but now avoiding the endless stream of ads is more of a challenge then the game itself. Bad move Andre

Program runs ok, blocks are not blocks. I got one that looked like a bat wing or some thing. What am I supposed to do with that?! I deleted app quickly

If you liked the old arcade version, you will love this one. Its easy to manipulate the tiles to give you the best arrangement to retire a row. So give it a try, you might just get hooked on it.

Good early fun but changes speed and flexibility for moves to change the challenge. Yup

Ok I love this game its very addicting but I would like to be able to listen to music while playing the game

Bad version of Tetris. Hard to move blocks where you want them to go because you have to slide them into place. Also, it forces your music to stop playing when you enter the app and starts playing its own bad music. Try a better version until these problems get resolved.

Really bad version of Tetris. Not like Tetris at all really. Also, it stops your music to play its own. And when you try to delete it, it will glitch out your device and force it to black out. I havent had anything deleted, but it still angers me that I cant delete an app game without plugging into my computer and permanently removing it. Do not get this app unless you want it forever.

Its really a pretty good game. Seeing the upcoming pieces; and holding one piece at bay; can really make the geometric planning and execution a fairly interesting challenge.

Having four different varieties of Tetris should make the game interesting. However, the implementation is quirky pieces never act exactly as you move them to do. They react too slowly and are most often are either not sensitive to touch or too sensitive to touch.

To avoid clicking on ads you have to touch middle of the screen. It is near impossible to no accidentally touch an ad while playing. This immediately opens you browser and pop ad up halting play. I rate game good but I give two minus points for the nuisance.

Im a fair Tetris player and I can only get like 2 lines on this. The problem is, every single shape is irregular so there are VERY few ways of fitting the shapes into a line. It just doesnt work. Needs better shapes.

ok I havnt played it yet but the first thing I heard when i opened it was some soviet russia communist folk music... i f@#!ing hate communists
